anybody with the mpx220

I know there are a couple people around here who have the mpx220 - how is the reception? Crap as usual with moto phones? If you have it - any idea how it would compare in terms of reception to the nokia 6230b?

Also - I doubt it does - but the batt and signal strenght - are they displayed in the MID?

I had that phone for 2 days. It is very difficult to hear when being used as a normal phone, even with the volume up all the way. Sound quality through HFL is OK (compares to my SE Z600) and no reception issues during my limited time with it. The MID shows signal (but not strength of signal), and no battery information.

I'm sticking with my Z600 until maybe the P700/710 comes down in price.

I don't have my 05 TL yet, but the good news is that the AT&T branded version with ROM v0.343 also exhibits the same problem as the Cingular branded version with ROM v1.3.

When I contacted Motorola on Wednesday, they informed me that the low volume issue has been resolved. AT&T Version will be upgraded to v0.366 and the Cingular version to v1.9.

The catch is that you need to send your phone in for flashing. My AT&T branded MPx220 is going in on Tuesday, so I can repot back when I receive it back.
