Any way to keep Max brightness and have Nav automatically adjust?
Does anyone know if there's any way to keep the brightness of the gauges at Max and have the Nav brightness automatically adjust to Night and Day when the headlights are on or off?
Currently, I know that if the gauges aren't on Max and the headlights are turned off, the Nav brightness stays on Day settings. If the headlights are turned on, the Nav automatically adjusts the brightness to Night settings. If the gauges are on Max, whether the headlights are turned on or not, it always stays at Day settings even at night.
I wanna keep the Max brightness setting all the time but it's kinda annoying have to go into Setup each time at night and pressing Night.
Anyone?

I agree with you slimmyjimmy. Yes, The only way to have it auto adjust is to back it off one step below max, but I like MAX, not one step below. MAX is perfect, one step below is too dim. Why can't we have both? Sees really stupid for the guage brightness to have ANY effect on the navi. It has it's OWN brightness adjustment. THEY SHOULD BE SEPARATE IN ALL WAYS.
Sorry for the rant.
