Any comments on this product vs. the Nav2TV product?

This is one I found online:

It's the PIE ACU/NAV-EYE2

http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=1016

Any comments appreciated. I was quoted $799 for a video interface from a car stereo shop (I think it was the nav2tv unit) and this one seems much cheaper and should be fine unless it sucks and I don't know it yet.

How does this compare to similar products?

Well it appears to be the same as DOM's product, but $60 more. Is that $799 installed? or $799 just for the unit? Because you can buy it for $240 straight from DOM.......

Thanks for that! Can anyone direct me to where I can buy it now online? I have searched and can't find it here or when I google. Is it always called "Dom's Nav2TV"?

Thanks all! I'm about to do my new 80 DB iPod video with neo and this for video on my 2006 RL.

I guess I'll hold your hands all the way through: Combined acurazine, G35driver TVandNav2go group buy

Read the first post and call the number posted there. Tell them you're from Acurazine and you're interested in purchasing the TVandNav2Go module. Kim or Dominic should take care of you from there.

heads up is that you will need something for sound as doms is only for video. For audio, alot of people use the USASPEC adapter.

Yes. Thanks. I did know that part. I'm using the Neo adapter. It's pretty much the same thing (I think it may be exactly the same thing) and my car stereo store here has it in stock.

It looks like they were trying to make too much off of me on the nav2tv unit. They were charging me $799!!!! OMG!

Anyway, I'll order this unit, and pay them for the labor and the neo audio adapter.

I can't wait to get my iPod video running on the RL. My wife's Infinit (M45) has such an awesome system w/ DVD video, etc. Now the RL will be on par with it.

Awesome!!! Has this been discussed on here before? I've never seen this product.

Do you have any pics of your setup? I have an RL, but it should be similar.

What do you connect to your iPod to get to this? Is the video coming from the minijack or the bottom connector?

Sorry for the questions, but this looks to be a great solution.

Oh, and I noticed this was from canada. Will it work on all Acuras?
