Another V710 TL question
Another V710 TL question
OK So I have had my car for over a month.
I had the original software on my v710 and had no problems with the phone at all. Could send and receive all calls with the HFL.
Updated the software on the phone so I can see the battery and signal meter on the mid.
Now a LOT when I receive a call, radio cuts out, I get the incomming notification, I hit the button to answer, then the radio comes back on and I can't hear anything. I look at the phone and it says I am still on the call. I try to do transfer and that doesn't do anything. So I sit there and have to push hang up on the phone.
Now the person on the other line says they can hear everything I say and even hear my radio.
I dont have any problems sending calls.
Anyone else have anything like this going on?

If the radio is being heard on someone's phone that you are talking to, you need to get a new HFL installed by service. Mine did that & I have a new HFL waiting at the dealer for installation, next time I go in for an oil change.
One of the threads mentions my problems and solutions with the same problems you're having.
In no particular order:
1. Put the phone on vibrate. I haven't dropped a call yet when the phone is in vibrate-only mode.
2. Put your phone on vibrate-then-ring mode. This is what I currently have. It seems to work fine. I don't think I've dropped any calls.
3. Delete all the entries from the address book on your phone (you can leave the ringer on). Any entry that was in the address book would not work properly.
You can pick up a dropped call by pushing the Talk button and then the Cancel button. This seems to work fine for pickup up those dropped calls.
