Amooca - $10 Keyfob cover replacement?

I know you get what you pay for... so i have doubt this is quality...

Has anyone tried this? is the quality acceptable?

There's a few for 35$ which i'm sure are good quality, i'm just wondering if this could be any good?

I bought a replacement cover for my 2005 TL and it was great. The old silver one, especially the buttons, was looking ragged. New one was perfect!

I got the oem silver one last week. Fits good, but the little tabs on the back of the buttons were too long, and were too sensitive . Or pressed themselves.

Used a file to trim them shorter, then used a lighter to heat them and smooth the ends. Just barely skim them with the flame.

how do you install it? I've been looking at them and do not know how you get the electronics in it. Guess i should order one and read the instructions...

Looks like decent quality, once I bought one for my old Infiniti, the "Panic" was spelled

"Pabic"

Couldn't be easier, use a tweezer to pop open the case , push the lock button hard to push the rubber cover and board out, then push it back in the new case. Pull the battery and put it in the new back cover. Check function. If too tight feeling or activates too easy, trim the little tabs a little with a nail file, then lightly heat them to re-round and deburr them. Done.
