I want to get rid of my stock antenna in my Integra and replace it with one that will be located inside the car. I could buy an aftermarket antenna (which I don't trust because of mixed reviews they got) or I thought of something else, why not use a 2nd gen TL antenna? Will it work with an aftermarket audio unit? The parts I need are 6 and 5 from this charts?:

If you haven't noticed...you posted this in the 3G TL section so you may not get the answers you were after for a 2G TL part.

I looked at the parts, but it keeps referencing a glass antenna. I am not familiar at all with the 2G setup, but just based on the names, wouldn't you assume the antenna assembly still requires the antenna in the glass? Does the 2G not have the antenna wires in the glass? Heck I don't even know where/how the antenna in the 3G is.
