alternative backup camera?

alternative backup camera?

does anyone here know weather we can use the wire harness and other parts from an mdx to hook up a camera into the navi?

probably cheaper and easier to go w/ Dom's box. Unless you already have the MDX's harness and knows how to wire it up. I would recommend you go with something that is known to work.

not the thing on ebay, but i do have a guy in nyc who has all the parts and is willing to do it for about $800 and still keep a factory warrenty on all of the parts, (acura certified)

uh.... you mean a dealer will do this mod for you for $800 and comes with a warranty?

So I'm assuming there is no need for the DOM right? I guess thats a really good price considering you retain the warranty do it, take some pictures!

Ok nevermind, get the DOM unit with PNP. You will retain warranty because you are not hardwiring anything. And a final cost around $400 if you do the install yourself.

That is sure an important digit to miss!

I agree with the others, just get Dom's TVandNav2Go and DIY. I'll be posting a guide of my install over the weekend (soon), so just stayed tuned.

so the pnp won't void anything? because i have had a few issuses with the navi before.

It requires no wire cutting, if you have a problem with the navi you can take the DOM off and it would be like it was never there. Warranty problems come when you cut wires........
