Alarm question-OPINIONS PLEASE

well lately theres been alot of cars getting stolen in my area and i dont want to be next. ive already had my rims stolen here and cant afford this happening again. ive been looking into getting an aftermarket alarm such as viper clifford or python possibly

does anyone know any good alarms for reasonable prices with
a remote that has the display screen on it ? any sites with good prices or personal experiences would be appreciated

MOST IMPORTANTLY DOES ANYONE KNOW A RELIABLE SHOP IN SOUTH FLORIDA TO GET IT INSTALLED AT ?

thanks for your help az !

well viper, clifford, python, avital.... are all the same company! So those will all be fine. If you dont want remote start then the vier 350 responder is a nice unit that isnt too expensive.

Get the viper 5901 or 5902. It gives u a mile range and the remote will beep if anything goes off.

If u want crazy all around notification and have a smart phone, get the viper smart start. It's controlled by an app on the phone and will give u notifications no matter where u are!

Install wise, I have always gone to best buy. The price is shot 120 and its a lifetime warranty on labor so ur covered.

I have the viper 5902 and love it

Well im sorry, i gave some wrong info and I had a friend hook me up there to get it installed.

But I know the prices of the install should be this:

1) 200 for alarm and remote start install
2) anywhere from 30-80 depending on what bypass you use (I used the PKALL)
3) up to 100 in misc parts for install

I would call you a few other bestbuys, some will hook u up and some will go by the book. just my two cents tho.

be sure to also have a shock sensor added to with your alarm system!

Viper Smart Start

Any one have it installed?...If so, what do you think? Worth it or not?

I personally think its pretty kool, but a few reviews on line mentions that it barely works sometimes (especially in the AM (2-5 in the morning). But paying
more the $500 dollars and not being reliable =
