Alarm

Hello to my fellow TL owners out there. I am new to this and I posted one thread before on the TL with the aftermarket stereo. My question is does anyone no anything about the Hornet 700T keyless entry upgrade that works with the factory alarm system. Is this worth buying or should I go for something better such as a clifford? I got a quote for this system at $450 which i think is high, but it is installed at shop in a honda dealer. The installation is guaranteed. With this system I will not loose any of the factory settings. So what is the recommendation?

You are still going to lose door lock/unlock functionality (from the keyfob) when the car is running. Yes that price does seem high, but you are in CA. I am not so familiar with the pricing out there.

You will lose the ability to roll down your windows with FOB. That is unless they tap in to that function of the car. The car will also not know what driver is getting in so I will not adjust the seats. Those are the big ones.

Are you sure about this? If so, that kind of defeats the entire purpose of trying to keep the OEM system in the first place.
