yes, another one of these threads - I currently have ATT/Cingular and I am using the nokia 6230b, which works great with HFL, except the battery and signal and it is getting annoying quickly ( Just bought TL on monday). I have used the v600 also; HOWEVER, there are many places my v600 just won't pickup signal.

The 6230 is a RF monster - it gets signal almost everywhere. Are there ANY other phones like this? I am in a building everyday where the 6230 will pickup one bar, enough for me to know somebody is calling and answer it if I need.

Yes, the v600 has updated firmware.

I can switch to another carrier if I have to, but I am getting unlimited minutes every month for $85 and I use about 3000 minutes, so to go to another carrier doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

 

Go with any SE phone. If you can wait, there may be a quad band SE s700 coming out soon.
