hey all on acurazine, i'm not sure if this topic has been tackled anywhere else on the site but i can't find a thread....

i have a pretty stock 05 tl with nav but i do not have a back up cam. i have found some aftermarket ones on chinavasion.com that say i can plug it into my nav/dvd player but i am a little weary about that.

has anyone added a back up cam either one they offer in the 07-08 models or an after market one and can shed some light on how to go about installing it?

It looks like the search drops the "up" in "back up" if you leave a space... so I used "backup"

I personally haven't heard of that website, most of the RL guys are using an ebay camera.

They were very good to work with. If you want to save a few dollars you can get the unit that plugs into the nav unit from them and look for a small rear view camera from ebay for about $20...it seems like they're the same.
