I just bought my 04 TL w/o nav and want to install an aftermarket head unit. The factory unit seems to have a cd jammed inside, but i planned on replacing it w/ something anyway, like Alpines new unithttp://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product.php?model=iDA-X001
or a touchscreen/dvd player. I cant seem to find any install kits. I also haven't come across any photos of an aftermarket head unit installed.
Can someone show me some pics or a link of one?PC

 

I'd suggest a double din 7.5 Inch touchscreen, although I am not sure what the interior without the nav looks like...

you will have to wire a dvd player in your glove box... I am sure not to big of a problem but for under 400 no complaints right heehe

Thats what i'm leaning toward. Do you have any pics of one installed? or even know of anyone thats replaced the factory cassette/cd player unit? I really dont care for the big ass radio dials. Thanks

P.S. You won't be able to find any mounting kits. You'll have to custom make it.
