After Market Integrated Blue Tooth System

So my bluetooth system like many others is broken. The dealer wants about $700 to fix it. Still looking for the unit on the ebay.

Now that is a lot of money to waste on just the bluetooth module that is obviously inherently flawed.

There has to be a better way to fix this problem.

I was looking at the after market systems like Parrot. These can give you bluetooth and bluetooth audio. I would be wiling to pay for something like that.
Is there a way to seamlessly integrate this into my current system. I was hoping of a way to come up with a wiring harness and plug this directly into where the bluetooth module is. Hoping to keep the rest of the controls in the car functional.

I know I can integerate the parrot system into my radio but why do all that when all the components are already in the car and only the bluetooth module is at fault.

There seem to be some people on here doing some forward thinking and unique things on their car, and I am sure one of you can come up with some economical solution that will add more to the car.

Parrot

I'm in the same boat as you. Have you had any luck with the Parrot installation? Someone else has done something similar with i simple.

I am currently researching this. I want to plug a Bluetooth reciever adapter into my AUX plug in the center console of my 2007 TL. Then my iPhone can audio stream music to the radio without wires. Seems people have been successful with this in other cars. It appears the iPhone will connect to both the HFL and this aftermarket BT simultaneously (This is my biggest concern). Belkin, blackberry and blubridge are just some of the brands that offer Bluetooth audio input adapters.
Has anyone accomplished this in an Acura with AUX in and HFL?

I just ordered some capacitors and will be fixing my HFL this weekend, but ultimately I would like to integrate streaming audio as well... I have been looking at the GROM unit but no one has responded to my post...

Bluetooth audio streaming

I got a Blackberry Bluetooth Gateway today and a USB car charger. Plugged it into AUX and 12V plug in center console (the whole contraption is in there). iPhone easily paired and now it can stream music from iPhone wirelessly. HFL still pairs too and works fine. Sound might be a notch below my hard wired iPod in trunk but I am satisfied.
