Adding Addresses in Navi

How do you add personal addresses on navi? I was trying to do it today and couldn't figure it out. I clicked User 1 and there are no options to ADD anything.

in the setup menu/option 2 right above where you add your home address

Is there a way to enter a waypoint as lat/long coordinates? I have garmin
handheld GPS, that I want to just enter some of the points into
the TL directly.
