I searched, but threads for the factory Acura Ipod adapter are a few years old. Perhaps the adapters have much improved by now.
Anybody have one installed recently, please chime in here & let us know the pros & cons. I like to know how it compares to the Dice/USA Spec, besides it's overprice.

 

nope the acura music link hasnt improved or changed its actually based on the loading feature by the TTS software when u load music to the ipod and then it programs it a certain way to play a certain way. for example the newer ipods didnt work for about 6 months until honda dropped new software because they would freeze up when u attempted to plug it in and play a song. weird.

 

Thanks for the feedback! From reading posts on the DICE/USA Spec, I read that they work but loose a bit of functionality & with minor issues (skipping). So I thought, a Acura factory Ipod Adapter should be 100% compatible & not loose any functionality & no warranty issues with Acura. Cause I could get the adapter at cost, that's why I was asking.....

 

yea u can get it super cheap off ebay too they are at cost i believe....anyway ur welcome good luck have fun!

absolutely recommend the factory unit. ebay has acura dealers selling them. yes all the same units mb
