Active X-over settings with Factory Tweeter Locations

If anyone is using the factory tweeter locations, what have you found to be the best active Xover settings?

Im getting a lot of simbalence /reflection/comb filtering from the stock locations.

Are metal tweeters more likely to have this over silks?

Anyone using a particular tweeter that does not have this problem?

I play mostly rock, punk and acoustical music.

I used the Seas aluminum dome 27mm tweet with good results from 4K and up @ 24db crossover. Currently using Scan D2904's at 4K @ 24db. I have found the lower you go the more issues and going above 4K creates issues for the door speaker to play up that high.

anyone know the freq response of all the speakers in the car... Stock system has grown on me a little.. think it needs a tad bit more treble. Waiting for something to tune the system would love to match stock just with a whole lot more volume (lots of highway driving windows down if the lovely weather continues)

Thanks, I was thinking that was contributing to the problem, currently I am crossed at 2.5 with the passives. are you running 3 way front or a two way front?
