Could be the disc you are using is not a -R. Most +R discs don't work in the TL.

I think triggle might have it reversed. I was never able to get a DVD-R disc to work. I went out and bought DVD+R discs and they worked first try. I'm almost positive thats your problem.

Ok, this screems wrong. Of course it depends on what version of nero you are using. Please let us know. First there should be no dragging of the iso, you should be opening it.

I have Nero v6.6.0.12. I open Nero, hit cancel on new compilation, go to "Recorder" -> "Burn Image..." in the menu. I then browse to the folder with the iso, select it then click on open. That brings up the burn compilation and I just click on burn.

Please confirm version and if what I stated above is what you are doing.

When the original script was developed by Adobeman, one suggestion was to use DeepBurner to burn the DVD disc. It has a small footprint, intuitive, doesn't conflict with any other apps and best of all it's free. I've never had any problems with using it and I have Nero and Roxio installed also.

No, triggle got it right. There has been more success using -R than +R. That has been a problem since the script and GUIs were developed. You're probably one of the few who has had success with +R media.
