Is there an adapter that supports A2DP and AVRCP? (Track control via steering wheel)

I found this:

but I wasn't able to find any info on it or any reviews


Right now I have a Acura Music link with a spliced cable hooked to a 3.5mm A2DP adaptor which works well enough but I really want steering wheel controls

 

Check out iSimple. They have one.

I bought Neo's iPod adapter and it works without any problems. Steering wheel controls and text display. I chose that over iSimple because iSimple locks you out of your iPod and you are forced to browse via the head unit controls (which are marginal).

 

The i Simple says it requires XM

Sadly, my 06 is a Canadian model without XM

 

what is your source button on the HU? if not XM what is it? the harness may work. I would check with iSimple

 

If you set the iSimple to Aux1 with the iPod connected, you can use the iPod screen to navigate and also use the steering wheel controls still.

 

Interesting. I had only seen the iSimple ones before this. There seem to be some ios7 issues with the iSimple. Have you tried this one with ios7?
