Question 5-channel vs. 4-channel + 2-channel

I'd like to know everyone's opinion on doing a 5-channel amp vs. a 4-channel and maybe a separate 2-channel later on to power the center. I was originally planning on adding a 5-channel to power the components in the front doors and rear deck but after looking at my options and brands that make a 5-channel, I've been reconsidering. I really don't have any need for the center except for the navigation and voice commands (I never listen to DVD-A). Is it possible to use the stock amp as a line driver AND to power the center for those functions? Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Alot of people have run the center off the stock amp and the rest of the speakers off aftermarket amps. Pull the regular stock speaker wires into a LOC and leave the center alone. The wiring diagram is around here somewhere. Let me know if you need it posted.
