5.1 amp or 2 amps?
After researching the threads it seems like the best amp for the ELS syatem is the Audiobahn 5.1 amp. It provides excellent RMS watts to every location and maintains the 5.1 surround. I would like to place a JL 10w6v2 as my sub and am still considering my mids/highs. It seems the best fit for the 2005 tl and the amp is the Diamond Audio 6" (s600s for front and M361i for rear) speakers for both front and rear. I would not have to modify the openings this way (to accomodate 6.5" speakers). I would also like to use the David Navone Line Out Converters instead of a JL cleansweep. Any feedback good or bad would be appreciated. Thanks.

I bought a Diamond Audio D65.2 7 channel amp as opposed to getting 2 amps, which i'm not into. They discontinued the amp, but i found one online. I also purchased the Navones, but i'm still narrowing down my choices for speakers. Probably going with CDT Audio HD62 components up front, and HD 6 mid-drivers in the rear. I don't like the fact that i have to modify the openings, but i'm going after sound quality, or i would consider the Diamond hex also. Not to be negative, but i didn't hear good things about the Audiobahn amp, so i decided to stay away from it. But we don't have a lot of 5.1 choices, do we? Good luck with whatever you go with though!
