3sixty.2 question

Hello Everyone,

Do you recommend me to use the crossovers that comes with the speakers? I am thinking, if 3sixty.2 has that much ability to tune each individual speaker, I should not need it.

Here is my set up.

Front: image dynamics CTS 65 CS (100W RMS @ 4 OHM)
Rear: POLK MOMO MMC 650 coaxials (80W RMS @ 4 OHM)
SUB: ALPINE TYPE R 12": 500 W RMS @ 4 OHM
ALPINE PDX 4-100
ALPINE PDX 1-600
3SIXTY.2 SOUND PROCESSOR

Thanks,

unless your putting your tweeters on one pair of channels and mid range on another set of channels and bi-amping them....YOU MUST USE THE PASSIVE SET OF X-OVERS PROVIDED WITH YOUR SPEAKERS...do not make this mistake...

^^ +1. The crossover ensures the proper signal gets to each speaker. If you send mid-bass to your tweeters, you'll be buying another set soon.

Besides, it looks like you've invested some money in some good quality stuff. Why skip this fairly simple step?

Thank you. Actually, I was not trying to skip a step, I certainly don't mind using the crossovers for the speakers. However, I was just curious to find out the correct way of doing it from someone that knows more than me about this stuff.

I appreciate the help.

+2 Don't make that mistake.

Also, no need to Bi-Amp. it's expensive and you really don't need it unless you're OCD.

Use the crossovers that come with the components and set the 3Sixty.2 to "All Pass" filter.
