This may already be in another link but i couldnt find it.
I need to know how much dynamat i should use to sound proof the trunk. I am in the process if installing a 12 inch jl w3 and i want people outside the car to here base not rattling.

Any advice would be helpful

 

I ordered the door kit (12 sq ft) and it was enough. I mostly lined the trunk lid, and outer trunk shell. I placed small amounts on the trunk floor where I thought it was needed. I have no complaints.
