I apologize in advance as I only rarely have time to browse these forums so if this issue has been discussed elsewhere; please direct me to the thread. BUT…

I have an ’05 6MT Navi and I want to connect my 3G iPhone by using the USA Spec PA15-HON2 iPod interface.

Before I purchase I would like to know:

1. When connected, is there a visual interface on the Navi screen?
2.When connected, if playing music from the iPhone, and there is an incoming phone call, is there a problem with the Bluetooth connection to the Hands Free Link?
3.When connected, will I still have the capiblility to use my XM tuner and my CD changer?

 

Go with the iSimple.. its been used and reviewed heavily with no issues. Works with the iPhone 3g. If you wanna go all out with video and stuff then do what I did... there is a thread I did with my setup. I have a video in that thread that will show you how everythign works.

Did you ever find out if the USA Spec works? I've been digging through the responses to other threads, but haven't found a definitive on that particular model. I've seen lots of other models and customizations... but not that particular one.

 

It works with the iPhone 3g, but won't charge it. You need to order a replacement cable from USA Spec; it costs $18.95

Sorry to revive an old(er) thread but in regards to the iSimple, if I don't have an iPhone, is it still worth getting over the PA15? I currently have the PA11 and was considering the PA15 only because I want to be able to see text on the navi screen.
