I just got the new DVD and i was wondering if there is anyone in the irvine area that can help me.

It didnt come with the setup disc and it seems like i need it because it cant read the disc properly.

does anyone in the area have the setup disc i can borrow to load and then i'd be able to give it right back so i can use my new dvd.

I was under the impression there was no setup disc required for 3rd gen navi upgrades... I got the disc and it just says format and than ejects the disc without upgrading. Is that the same situation thats occuring for you?

 

no. the new disc does not automatically eject for me. when i put the new disc in, it just states there is an error with the disc. upon further review of the instructions, it mentions use of a setup disc prior to putting in the new disc.
