Anyway to play ipod video's on the nav screen through the AUX input?

not really, you will need to add one via dom's tvnav2go module.

 

So you just need to buy the module.
No hacks required ?

go to the blackmarket section, then groub-buys and you should see it there. This will allow 2 video input into the navi system. You will only see video's though it though since the IPOD does not show it's user-interface over the video output.
