2008 Navigation DVD compatibility for TL 2005

Hi,

Can I use 2008 acura DVD into my Acura 2005 navigation? Do I need any software updates?

no ... 05 and 07+ tl navis are different i believe

The 2007+ Nav DVD's are a different version. They don't have the 2008 update out for the 2004-2006 Navi yet.

Correct. Here is a quick breakdown:

'04-'06 TL uses the 3.x navi system.

'07-'08 TL uses the 4.x navi system.

They are not compatible with each other.
