2008 acura tl bluetooth bad
Definitely disconnect it. Known issue is when they go bad, they can kill your battery since it draws power, even when car is off. Acura will charge you a bunch, plus it is old BT technology - can't stream music, etc. I just installed a US Spec BT45-HON3 and so far, so good. Cost less than the refurb'd Acura BT.
I thought about Crutchfield since they provide install support (which was more important back in the day before the internet), but this install is not bad as the XM Satellite receiver sits in the trunk in the passenger side 1/4 panel. It allows you to wire up a USB charging port and AUX input (cables are extra). If you go with it and have any install questions let me know - just finished installing in my '06.
