I have a 2007 Acura Tl Type S, so i have been hearing there is an update to the navigation? What does it actaully upgrade? and also is it possible for me to upgrade? Will it affect my software?

 

The "upgrade" is an updated navigation DVD. You simply have to replace the old one with a new one. Here is the site you purchase these from:

I purchased the new dvd for 150 shipped...i think is worth it... the reason i got it is bc there has been many changes to the roads where i live.. you also get a lot updated POIs... the map looks the same on the screen..

The Web site usually releases one update DVD per year, in Sept. or Oct. At some point between December and June they usually offer a limited time sale for $150. The most recent sale just expired on June 30, 2010.

If you're going to buy it for the full price ($185), make sure you wait until the next update is available.

 

If I'm not mistaken, I think the DVD updates may be every two years, not every year.....

 

I see this is an old post but just want people to see that the DVD is currently $99 until June 15, so get em while you can at this price!
