Hoping you can give me some feedback on next steps and ideas on my TL navi.. recently it started acting up.. I am able to input a route and it will start, but during my travel the unit hangs up.. the roads do not show up.. sometimes it will catch up and begin routing again or sometimes i have to restart the unit.

The disc has a few swirl marks in it but not bad.

Should i send the unit out to alpine?
Replace the DVD? If i just swap out the dvd i face the problem of the unit actually scratching this disc and waste 150 bucks...

I would try using one of those dvd cleaner kits first.. make sure your disc and your navi is CLEAN.. then i would thinkg about sending it to alpine..
