I searched on google about this alot and could not find an answer . So I apologize if its a repeat question. But I was wondering if the 2007 or a 2008 Navigation system/Stereo could be used in a 2005 Acura TL??? Because from what I know 2007 stereo can play mp3s.

Hey there, from the research I've done and units I've seen it doesn't look as though they're interchangeable. We're limited to use the units from the 04-06s in our 2005 model. For whatever reason its easier to find a used current gen navi unit than it is to find a 3rd gen unit. My thinking is that everyone is trying to buy one because of how junky these dvd modules in the trunk are. I wish the 07 would fit...but yeah won't work. I'd LOVE the mp3 option
