2 pin connector on Nav wire harness

2 pin connector on Nav wire harness

I can't find anything referencing this, does anybody know what the 2 pin connector taped to the navigation wire harness is for? I don't see any Acura accessories that use this connector.

can you take a photo of it? I don't ever recall seeing an empty slot back there...

I don't have a picture of my own, but you can see it clearly in the third picture of this post

It is taped to the main wire harness with blue tape just to the right of the center of the picture.

It's a service check connector or plug. The dealer service dept use it to check or diagnose any problems with the navigation unit. I've made a few custom navi wire harnesses and omited that plug with zero issues. I just left some wire extra wire without a plug and taped it up. Like I said it's only used by the dealer service dept.
