so the stock sub, as you know, is just weak. and since i was a weee lil youngster i have always wanted a w7. so in the next week or two im gonna put a 10inch w7 in. my cousin who is in the stereo game say i should put in a clean sweep so my first question is: does anyone have a clean sweep that they are running? and should i get it? ive never used them in the past...the amp im thinking of running is a xd600/1 my cousin says i should get an amp that can run the other speakers (if i should decide to change them later on) so i wouldnt need to get another amp, so ur input on this would help also is this gonna give me problems with the noise cancellation mic thing??

Do a few searches for our 3G TLs. There are many positive threads for running an aftermarket amp for our factory speakers.

 

How about get a sub that will do just as well for half the price and buy a set of components...and then get your 4-channel amp. Done deal and you've got a solid sounding system. I mean if your wanting just 1 10w7..your not going for crazy SPL #'s...so why not

 

I too have an 07 type s.. U have to unplug the rear ANC.. Located in the rear dome lights very easy to remove... Hmu I'll tell u how to wire to factory amp etc...
