So my 2 year old daughter lost my number one switchblade key. Ive turned the house upside down and cant find it. Just for peace of mind that if it fell into wrong hands i thought about purchasing another used one on ebay and then just recutting and reprogramming either at locksmith or Acura? Is this possible and im wondering if this would eliminate my other key from working? I would want the other key to stop from working. Does anyone know the answer to my questions?

 

Yes, the new key would work, but not sure if it would cause the original key to be non-operable.

 

Roll into your Acura dealer... bring ALL the keys you have... They can remove the code form the car's computer, making the key that you don't have with you... disabled.
