Hi all, I have a problem which I am hoping someone can help me choose the best solutions. I have an 04 TL with navi and the 6 disc CD player seems to have stop playing CD. After doing some research I leaned that the Radio/CD player will need to be replaced. I have always wanted an AUX or iPod capabilities in this car and I was thinking now may be a good time to get something that give me this capability. My question is, will a 08 radio/cd player work in the 04 TL without any mod? I know the 08 TL come with MP3 player and AUX input.

the back of the two units are different.
one(i think the 08) has an extra plug.

its best to get the same year head unit to avoid hassle.

U have 2 get a 07/08 radio unit with the 40p grey connector if u wanna convert it

 

Hey fellas sorry for resurrecting and old thread but after all the searching this has given me the best answer to my question. Now to finish that is this all that needs to be connected and how would I do so if you guys dont mind helping out.
