Will an 08 stock amp plug right in into a 04 and will that make the sound any better? I ask because many people say that 07-08 stock amps sound way better then an 04 amp. I must add that I do have aftermarket amps, so with that said - would it make any difference (should it fit) or should I just bypass the stock amp? I have the output out of the stock amp going into a Fosgate 360.1 before going into the amps. (Fosgate 500.4 and a 1000.1). My sound quality sucks, and I'm thinking of replacing the stereo with an aftermarket double din and just go straight into my amps bypassing stock amp and the 360.1. what do you guys think?
