Has anyone successfully installed a 6.5 comp with a 3" mounting depth in a Tl? I am currently running slim mount's and they are not doing it for me.

If you were successful, did you need any think more than a spacer ring? What was the spacer thinkness?

Thanks for the links, although I did not find much about a 3" depth. I am looking at the CDT 62i comps but I think they are going to be too thick.

 

You will be fine.I have a set of Re audio xxx which are 5 inches in depth.Spacer is 1 and an 1/4 inch out of mdf.
