'07 Radio work on '04 TL?

my 6 disc cd changer broke and i want an aux input.

should i
A) Fix the disc changer and buy an aux unput for 89.99
or
B) buy the 07 TL radio and have an aux input and working cd changer

WHICH WILL BE cheaper and more effective

The TL's seem to be very pick with headunits. I can almost guarantee that an 07 head unit will wont work in an older model TL. On cassette cover on the head unit, you should see a number like (1TB0, 1TB1, etc..). This is the number you'd need for a replacement. I put a thread together a while back giving a little overview of what ive found. Just search my history.

most likely yes because it looks to be the same plug. if you can change the navi screen then i would say yes to the radio.

Has anyone tried this first hand yet? I'm really trying to get a nice clean looking aux input without the mess, this seems like the best way.

the connections are not the same in the back.
if you google/ebay the 04-06 radio unit then compare them to the 07-08 you'll see the difference.
