I am very new to the navigation area to this website, however, I bought a base 07 TL and bought a navi screen from ebay (item #230249162518) and the URL is:

I was wondering if I need any additional wires and etc or are the wires already connected to the non navi module? Please HELP SOMEONE

 

ya ur going need a dvd player for the trunck also.. there is a guy on ebay who sells a plug and play harnass but it cost around 500 which i think is well worth it for not cutting up your new TL!

 

Yes you need to build a wiring harness, you will need the nav rom, the sub display, the steering wheel switch, and a few small things. There are a few people(myself included) who have done these conversions.. here was mine

What about the extra connector on the 07/08 display? Where do those connections go?

 

I'm wrong. It's not an extra connector. It's a different color and placed in a different place. So it might not be different after all.

There are a few displays on ebay right now.

 

If im not mistaken make sure you get a nav rom for the 07-08 if you want to utilize the 4.x dvd roms.
