07 base TL backup camera not working/problem
Hey all,
I recently purchased a used 07 TL, and the backup camera malfunctioned a couple days after I bought it. Seems to have shorted as it was working the day I bought it. Picture flickered, then was black screen. Worked the morning after when I reversed out of my garage but ever since then 100% black screen.
Searched throughout the forums in last couple weeks, haven't seen too many people with issues with their camera.
Tried the following:
-Reset the fuses for the backup in both engine bay and front driver fuse box
-Pulled out the navigation in trunk and reset all the plugs there.
-Reset the backup light power switches behind the trunk liner.
-Accessed the Acura nav diagnostics and it shows GREEN to the backup camera.
Still black screen when switching to reverse. Camera should be OEM.
Anyone have ideas on what I should try next?
