07-08 TL-S Navi question

Question: I have the White DVD v.4.51. My friend has an 2010 TL w/ Tech pkg. Do any of you know what would happen if I popped his into my car? Has anyone tried this before?

If your friend's navi DVD is white, and part of the same series, i.e., 4.xx, it'll work just fine.

noob question: if i pop out my navi dvd from the trunk, does it lose any info or make me enter in a pin or anything when i put it back? i just want to see what version i have and color.

You will be fine. You need to pop it out when you buy a disc upgrade. I did it once & it went smoothly, no problems.
