Greetings everyone.

Is there any way at all to get the navi in a 2006 TL to play MP3's? Any kind of a firmware update to allow MP3 / WMA files to be read??

Also, I know the aux. jack didn't appear in the TL until 2007, but is there any kind of an aux. input adapter for this system that will allow me to connect an Ipod?

Doesn't make any sense to me that my 2006 Civic has an aux. jack and MP3 CD playback capability, but my 2006 TL does not.

There's no firmware upgrade to allow the stereo to play MP3s. I have the iSimple, which I bought and had installed at Best Buy. It's very cool and it takes over the XM controls to do all of the music playback. You do still keep the XM capability though too. One thing I recommend though, if you get the iSimple... make sure the firmware is up to date before installing it or getting it installed. Mine wasn't and some of the bugs I'm experiencing have already been fixed.

The cool thing about our "entertainment center" is that it can play DVD-A's.
One of our members has made a script that easily converts .wav's and .mp3's into dvda format.
his user name is adobeman. Search around for "DVDA + Adobeman"

you can fit up too 99 songs on one DVD. and there is a 6 dvd changer. Do the math, and you can have 594 songs.
