So I just bought my 06 TL, and it did not come with a disk for the navi. Dealer (local dealer, not Acura) said they would get me the disk. So a month later and many phone calls of asking where it is, I pick up my disk tonight. Right off the bat, it says 2002 on the disk. It's orange, I put it in, and it loads up fine. I check the version, and it's 20020091 or something along those lines. Does anyone know what year this came in? Did the 2nd gen TL's have this same type disk? I'm pretty pissed they gave me such an old copy but they took too long with this copy that I'm not going to even bother complaining. I'll just get the latest one from Acura. Besides the maps and poi's, are there any major graphical changes from this 2.0 disk to the most current?

 

wow thats old My 06 came with version 3.30 im surprised it even worked

 

I thought the '06 came with a 3.40 and then the 3.50-- my '05 had the 3.40.

The DVDs usually have software updates that are uploaded into the Navi, so the newer disks should work better and faster than prior versions.

Yea, they told me they bought them from ebay because it was cheaper than going through Acura. I'll be calling them today to voice my opinion one last time before I say goodbye to this place. Having a navigation disk from 2002 is almost pointless.
