Hello!

Ok.. So i have an 06 TL with navi and my radio wont work.. The backstory is I bought the car, battery was replaced before I bought the car. I get there and do all i need before I buy it. Unfortunately I didnt realize the radio doesn't work. I have the code but it never turns on to ask for the code.. The red anti theft light flashes. and it did eject a cd when one was in the player. Ive checked all the fuses and they are all good. Side note . The navi says "please check disk" will that affect the radio at all? Any and all help appreciated.

they fail once in a while, no fix but to get a new one there's a few in the Black Market i believe.

 

Id hate to buy one and have the same issue.. Ive read a few post from google where its been the case.. I also dont want to go with an aftermarket one.. I want to retain as much factory as possible i.e. all speakers and sub.
Ill have to keep looking for someone local with one and see what I can "borrow"

By the way the nav saying "check disc" has nothing to do with the radio. The DVD unit or disc is probably bad.

 

I have a radio for sale if you need one out of my 05 Base with navi. let me know if you need it.
