05 tl Navi model new to the community pls help
Hey every one I've had my tl for a little over 2 years now. I'm pretty huge with my music and having subs so when I first got it thanks put the simple and cheap way of installing the system by splicing straight into the sub wire. Recently I decided to uninstall it and put a head unit in. Got the wiring kit and install gear from crutchfeild. It was a pain in the ass due to it being cold and snowy out side but I was pretty excited to install new speakers and a better head unit since my oem head unit stopped working, it would cut in and out and had to give it some serious love taps to stop it from cutting in and out over and over. Any ways when I finally installed the new unit I connected the battery and poof it turn on then died. I know I blew something but I'm not sure what. So the symptoms are when I engage the key it sounds like the starter just keeps flickering on and off trying to start the car but it wont, all the lights exterior and interior flash as if the battery was dying. My fob won't unlock anything so I can't get into my trunk or set my alarm. Everything has to be manually opened. Im guessing it's the ecm. I'm not really tech savvy but I can do a few things through the help of YouTube. Help any one? Lol

check your battery.....if its old replace it.
if its newer, check the connections and terminals for corrosion.
