'04 TL Radio Code Help

Hey guys, I installed some 10" subs today so I had to disconnect the battery and now I can't find the radio code. I've got 2 stickers on the inside of my glovebox...one says 0897 (which is the nav code) and EDB26012498. The other sticker has....11112739. Ive tried a few with them not working. I know it's a 5 digit number with the numbers being 1-5. Its used so I don't have the manual for the car and I've called a few dealerships and they wouldn't give it to me even with me telling them the serial number. Anyone know what the code might be from those 2 stickers?

try this

1. Turn the ignition to "on".
2. Turn the radio off. (make sure u haven't exhausted ur error tries, if you have, disconnect battery, wait 1 min and then check to see if "code" is displayed on radio)
3. Press and hold buttons 1 and 6 down.
4. While holding those two buttons, press the "power" button on the radio.

The unit will display four numbers and then change to another set of four numbers. THAT IS THE SERIAL NUMBER OFF THE BACK OF THE HEAD UNIT! Just call a local dealer and give them that serial number.

sometimes the dealer wont give you the number over the phone, you'll have to drive it to the stealership. should be no cost. with that # they should be able to get it in seconds.

Thanks JPTL. I used that to get the serial # earlier and realized it was too late to call the local Acura dealership because the Service Dep. was closed....so I did what anyone would do....I called a dealership on the west coast haha. I tried 2 in California and they wouldn't give them to me over the phone, even though I had the SN. Sucks but oh well. I'm sure I'll just have to wait until Monday and call a local Acura place.

By the way, I found that if you you do 1,6, Power On, then hit 2....you get about 4-5 minutes with your radio/xm/etc on. Kinda like a demo, but it shuts off and will keep shutting off like that until the radio code is put in.

Edit: Forgot to mention what I picked up today. I got 2 Kicker Comp VR's (the silver cones), Kicker 400.1, 4 ga. amp kit, and custom ported box for $200. Cant beat that!! Now it can't compare to my last setup with Digital Designs, etc...but it'll do for a cheap, budget system.
