Hi

I have a 04 TL with Navi and my stock cd player unit stopped playing cds. I'm still able to use it for Radio.

When I press cd everything just goes down and I would need to turn the engine off/on to get it to be functional again.

I've read a few threads on it and I believe it has a short ot something.

Anyone now a place where I can get this repaired for cheap (under $100) in toronto?

If I do buy a used deck from someone else does it have to be from a 04 TL with Navi or can it be any deck from 04-08? Does it matter if the deck is from the states because our canadian tl's don't have XM.

 

you'll need to get an 2004-2006 deck, if you have navi you want a navi radio otherwise the HFL and navi voicefeedback don't work properly.

You can try to find a shop to repair the head unit locally. It's made by panasonic.

 

If I'm buying a deck used how can I tell the difference of it being a Navi or Non-Navy deck?

Also if I buy a deck from the states the buttons are different. Does that matter?
