what exactly do you need, just the disk or the entire system? You can buy the newest disk from acuranavi.com, or if you want the whole system, a guy sells them for about 2k.

the full navi system consists of the following:
DVD drive (3K new)
DVD screen (2K new)
GPS antenna
Assorted wire harnesses (one main one that costs 1K new)
Buttons for steering wheel
Mics for voice recongnition

If you think about it, 2K is a steal. The cost of converting a non-navi into a navi is very complicated. I suggest you search on that subject.

2K is the going rate for a full kit of mostly used components.

You can get away cheaper but it's a hit and miss prospect. You'll have to do endless searches on ebay, craigslist, etc day after day until you think you've found something cheaper.

The hardest part of the whole deal is the wiring and a harness from the vendors selling complete kits are $500-$600. Some here have gotten factory harness for a stea but I never saw anythingl. I ended up getting shielded wire from my local hardware store and bought the connectors for about $200.

althou it might look nice and all. I must say this but a TomTom or a Garmin, is just as good as acura's navi. With a tomtom you can edit the maps and even update your maps from other people everyday. It has traffic and it has POIs that can be modified. I bought a tomtom one XL S and its just as good as anything you can buy. 200 bucks too. Just buy that. Its not worth the hassle of installing a navi in a non navi TL. You can always fuck something up. And it will cost thousands to buy the parts.
