It isn't bad, but there are better choices. For wax, Meguires and Pinnacle Souveran are two of the best, however most Care Car buffs prefer the synthetic stuff know as Zaino. Since you car is new, you can experiment with a few others as well. For a red or dark car, Blackfire makes a very good synthetic.
Just keep in mind that waxes will have to be re-applied every few weeks, but synthetics can last up to 6 months. Most people that go the Zaino route will do their cars more often than that, but if your not into weekly exterior work, then Zaino is your best bet. It will give you a reflective shine like no other product. Blackfire will give it the same swirl less reflective shine but be a little richer (like a wax) on dark colored cars.

Zymol is about midway up the ladder in the wax dept. I`ve used it for a couple years, buying the 70.00 grade. If applying multple coats, it will yellow because its a wax. Zaino is THE choice in clarity, durability and shine. If you still must (wax) your car, a close second is PS21, recommended by many Porsche Dealers

I would order online as I found it to be cheaper on most occasions. Also, Klasse is great stuff. Easiest wax/sealant I've ever put on and it literally lasts for months and months. I went through the whole winter (with snow and salt) with it never coming off. Water still beaded after the winter was over and I just re-Klassed. I found it to be better for lighter colored cars and the shine was pretty good. I thought P21S was a better shine but didn't last as long.

Zymol, Klasse, and Zaino are all polymer-based polishes I think. They all perform similarly. I saw an article on an NSX forum where they compared Meguiar's with Zymol with Zaino and something else I think. The Zaino won, if I recall.
Gurureports.org did a wax test on about 45+ waxes. Zaino came out on top.
I used Zaino for the first time. I doubt I'll ever use anything else after seeing how easy it was to apply and how great the results were.

According to many posts on the Edmunds wax forums, the lower cost Zymol products (like at Costco) are re-packaged Turtle Wax. To get the REAL Zymol, you need to buy the expensive ($80?) stuff.

Here's the link to the NSX wax test if anyone's interested:

The real expensive Zymol makes the $80 stuff look like milk money. It comes in many different grades, with the most expensive being $1,345.00 for 22oz.:wow:
It is called Vintage Glaze and contains 61 percent Brazilian No. 1 White Carnauba by volume, the highest in any product designed to protect automotive finishes.
It contains White Carnauba Sap/Wax, Montan Evergreen Oil, Sunflower Oil, Cantaloupe Oil, Coconut Oil, Honeydew Extract, Propolis (derived from Bees), Cetyl Esters, Cetyl Cocoamide (derived from coconut oil).
It does come with a lifetime refill policy:lol2:
The second most expensive is the Atlantique Glaze at a more reasonable price of $735.00, but with no lifetime refills:smackhead
So as you can see, the $80 stuff is for cheap skates

I would suggest checking out the forums at www.autopia.org. It has tons of useful information.
One choice in addition to the others covered above is the Einszett Glanz. Apparently it goes on and off quite easily and provides a few months worth of protection. I'm thinking of testing it out.

Once you go Zaino
You'll never go backo.
The stuff is unbelievably easy to put on and take off - shines cleaner and clearer than any wax - lasts a very long time (3-6 months depending on care, weather, etc.)
Use it on your new TL and it will be the last product you ever buy for any of your cars.
(PS - no, I am not related to Sal Zaino. I found this stuff on the Camaro SS forums and now use it on everything I own. I was a big user of Mequiar's Gold Class before, but Zaino is much better.)
DON't forget to clay bar your new car before you Zaino.

I was a big Meguiar's user too. I'll continue to use some of the interior stuff but nothing but Zaino's for the outside from now on.

after seeing the review of nsxsc.com, i decided to get the zymol liquid polish! for availability and price i think the zymol is unbeatable...the test results arent that far away with zaino...it's got cool packaging, comes with the buffing sponge...can't wait to use it...lousy weather at the moment!
