Zaino use question

Is zaino polish something you continue to build up coats of that will last for a very long time? It seems like a lot of work to do only to strip it back down to the clear coat and do all over every so often. Say I use Zaino for example and apply 2 coats of polish on a given weekend. How long before the weather will tear it down to the clear coat?

Don't have the offical answer but asked the same question on the MDX site and the answer was there was no need to start over.

I add a new coat a couple times during the warm months and each spring and fall I put on 2 or 3 layers. Of course I wash the cars at least once a week with Z7 and and then spray it off with Z6.

You don't ever strip it - you just continue to apply new coats. Twice a year you use the Z-1 primer or the ZFX primer/ accelerator+polish to be sure that the polymer bonds properly to the paint.

In my experience - 2-3 coats lasts up to 6 months before I feel I need to re-polish. It really depends on your weather, and if the car is garaged, etc. A polish job only takes me 20 minutes, so it is no big deal.

www.zainostore.com

You can order online with FAST delivery, or look for a distributor in your area.

If you have a new car, you can order

Z-2 polish
ZFX Primer/accellerator.
Z-6 Finishing Spray
Z-7 Car wash

This should last you a year or more.

EVERYTHING you need to know is on the Zaino site.

Please also refer to the Zaino thread on Edmunds Town Hall. There are hundreds of happy users there to answer your questions and offer tips and advice.
