Yet another break in period question

Just curious: after that ill-defined 600 mile break in period ends, do I need to take it easy at all for the next 400 miles? (I know, 600 miles = 1000 kilometers, but I whenever I have heard in the past about break in periods, it has always been for 1000 MILES).

Can I go WOT, cruise control, etc. starting at 601? Or should I wait till 1001??

Thanks

I hit 1500km's and I've redlined 2 and 3rd gears so far. I'm on snow tires which I'd like to last long and are Q rated so I'll wait till the spring to see how it does in the twisties.

The manual is fine but gives minimal information about break in. There have been lots of comments and good thoughts/ideas on this board. TVZECL, PM me and I will give you my $.02
